Western Movie Posters

Getting a few western movie posters can really make your living room go from drab to great. I know, because I have been watching westerns for years. Everyone expects to see classical art posters, or perhaps modern paintings by local artists inside your house, but why not surprise them. A well kept secret is that everyone there is loves western movie posters. They may be a bit cheesy or cliche, but western movie posters remind people of the movies that they grew up with, and they have a certain type of romance to them that is classic Americana.

I do not just like western movie posters, but really all types of movie posters. In addition to an original movie poster from “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly,” the prize of my collection, I have many more modern ones from all sorts of different movies all over the walls of my living room, kitchen, and bedroom. Having western movie posters is great, but without a touch of the contemporary as well, you will look downright boring. No one wants to look boring. That is why, right by my Tombstone poster in the Val Kilmer corner, I have a poster of Top Secret, that zany madcap comedy featuring Kilmer as an emissary of rock and roll behind the iron curtain. It shows that I am a mad of broad tastes, and that I do not only like westerns, but all types of contemporary cinema including comedy.

The best way to get western movie posters is to order them online, although many of them can be bought at the local poster shop. The fact is that, if you order your western movie poster online, you will not only get a better selection, as everything there is can be had on the internet, but will also get a better deal. Best of all, you can do the whole thing from the comfort of your own home, which is quite a convenience if you ask me. The only time that you do not want to order your western movie posters on the internet is if you are looking for vintage, first edition ones. Before you spend the money required to buy a first edition western movie poster (and it can cost a pretty penny, believe me) you really want to see it up close. Do not just take their word that their western movie posters are in good shape.
