Reuters - When John Mayer accepted the Grammy for best male pop vocal performance in 2003 for "Your Body Is a Wonderland," he promised to someday "catch up" to the award, which he won over the likes of Sting and Elton John. During a near-capacity show at the Verizon Amphitheater on Wednesday night, he not only caught up to the recognition but left it in his rearview mirror as he delivered a set that would have left his fellow nominees proud.
